This watch was left to me by my brother who was a collector of Rolex watches. This was his favorite watch. A mens 40mm vintage GMT-Master in stainless steel by Rolex. Featuring a matte black dial, a date aperture, and a stainless steel bi-directional rotating bezel with the iconic blue and red “Pepsi” bezel insert. Fitted with a glass, a self-winding automatic movement and an Oyster bracelet set with an Oyster steel deployant clasp.
Designed to show the time in two different time zones simultaneously, the GMT-Master, launched in 1955, was originally developed as a navigation instrument for professionals criss-crossing the globe.
Heir to the original model, the GMT-Master II was unveiled in 1982, with a new movement ensuring ease of use. The watch comes with original presentation box, Gearys/Rolex receipt for service.
