FAQ
Is there a Cris Notti Jewels store ?
What is the difference between Antique, Estate, and Vintage jewelry ?
Estate jewelry is jewelry which has been previously owned from any era. Vintage jewelry includes historic periods, such as Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Victorian, Georgian, Contemporary, Modern, Mid-Century, Retro, and Art Deco periods. Antique jewelry is usually over 100 years old. All three types of jewelry are special because they are not as readily available and may be crafted with a quality of workmanship that is not easily found in today’s jewelry. This makes antique, estate, and vintage jewelry more collectible and precious, attracting collectors and fashion-conscious clients alike. It can also sometimes be less expensive (or more, depending on the rarity).
How is the price of Estate, Vintage, and Antique jewelry determined?
Pricing antique, estate, and vintage jewelry is based on experience and expertise. With over 30 years of experience collecting antique jewelry, we consider a number of factors, including objective information – such as the number of carats in a diamond or if the metal is 14k, 18k, or platinum – and subjective information, such as the history and condition of the item. For example, is it signed? What era is it from? We are always up-to-date on international auction prices and other internet prices because we want to make sure our prices are accurate and fair. We guarantee that all of our items are authentic and you will never be fooled. In fact, many of our items come with a Certificate of Appraisal from a GIA certified gemologist. We pride ourselves in providing excellent value to our clients and our reputation is extremely important to us. Please let us know if you have any questions about the history or authenticity of any of our items.
How do I know that my purchase is authentic ?
At Cris Notti Jewels, our business relies strongly on our reputation. We want you to feel comfortable with your purchase and we will do our best to satisfy your expectations. To minimize doubt about an item’s worth, many of our items come with a Certificate of Appraisal from a certified GIA gemologist. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about the authenticity of our jewelry. Every item comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. We want you to be happy!
Are the pictures at crisnottijewels.com an accurate representation of the jewelry ?
We do our best to provide detailed, accurate photos of the jewelry for sale on our website but due to the nature of photography it is impossible to portray items exactly as they would appear in person. We’ve provided accurate written dimensions for all of our pieces, but due to different monitor settings, color may differ slightly. If you would like further pictures or details about a piece, including fit, please contact us. We will provide you with as much information as you need in order to make an informed decision about your purchase.
Can I purchase more than one of any item?
We have been building our collecting for over 30 years and as such, each piece is distinctive and often one-of-a-kind. So in short, there’s only one of everything. Our advice? If you see an item you love and it’s marked “AVAILABLE,” snap it up now before someone else does, because we won’t be able to find you another one.
Do you take special orders?
Yes, we do! Is there a particular type of piece you’re looking for? Let us know what you’d like and we will find it for you. Or, if it doesn’t exist, we’ll have it made. Visit our Custom Pieces page for more information.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Payment is usually due in full for most items at the time of purchase, but we may be able to arrange a layaway plan for you. Please contact us to discuss your options. Alternatively, you can apply for Paypal Credit.
