This lovely double bird brooch is still a brooch but I put it on a chain so it can be worn as a necklace or a pin. These birds hold a nice pearl in the center as both are holding it. This brooch is from the 1950's to 1960's and is made in 14K Yellow Gold and is waiting for its next owner. The chain is 18" long the Pearl is 5mm and this weighs in without the chain 8.48 grams and measures 4.2 mm x 2mm. Double birds in a necklace is unusual but I like to wear my brooches as necklaces so I did not take the pin from the back I just added the chain. You can not see the pin when worn as a necklace so it is the best of both worlds.
